About the OEC
The Open European HTM & Freestyle Championship is one of the biggest events of heelwork to music around the world. Since 2011 teams of dogs and handlers from all over the world have been competing at the event to become European Champions in the categories Heelwork to Music and Freestyle. The competition is organised in a different European country every year, but teams from outside Europe are also welcome to participate.
The aim of the event is to promote the wonderful dog sport of freestyle and to advocate for positive training methods and cooperation between dog and handler. Dogs with or without pedigrees can take part in the event.

Dog & handler information
Dogs of all breeds – with or without pedigree – may be entered.
The dogs have to be older than 18 months on the day of the competition and have a valid rabies vaccination.
The handlers must provide identification of the dog. (via chip/tattoo & international dog passport)
Junior starters
Maximum 2 starters per country; there will be NO team competition for Juniors.
To qualify as a Junior, the person must have been born between 2010 and 2015.

Please make the payment only afterwards! Paid entry fees will NOT be refunded!
Entry fees
Team entries EUR 90.00 per Handler-Dog Team
Individual entries EUR 90.00 per Handler-Dog-Team
Juniors EUR 70.00 per Junior-Dog-Team
Reserve competitors can be registered free of charge. They may have the opportunity to perform their routines during breaks or as "white dogs" throughout the entire competition. However, we cannot guarantee that every reserve team will get a chance to show their talents.
How to pay?
After receipt of the confirmation of admission by email, we ask the team / individual starters to make the payment of the entry fee.
In order to ensure a smooth and swift administration and to avoid higher fees, we ask that the teams transfer the entry fees for their country all at once. Please note, that paid entry fees will NOT be refunded!

For HTM and Freestyle competitors:
The time limit for the duration of the routine is maximum of 4 minutes.
For Junior competitors:
The music must be at least 2 but no longer than 3 minutes.
